With a solid foundation in engineering and a wealth of experience in construction project management, Gihan serves as the Technical and Operations Director at The Paint Factory. Armed with over 18 years of industry expertise, he brings a unique blend of technical acumen and operational efficiency to our team.

Gihan earned his BSc (Hons) in Civil Engineering from the University of Moratuwa, Postgraduate Diploma in Quantity Surveying from the University of Salford and MSc in Construction Project Management from Edinburgh Napier University, setting the stage for a successful career in the construction sector. He has since held key positions in various construction projects in Sri Lanka, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and New Zealand, demonstrating a consistent commitment to quality, innovation, and project optimisation.

In his role as Technical and Operations Director, Gihan oversees the seamless integration of technical aspects and operational efficiency across all projects. He brings a forward-thinking approach to construction management, incorporating cutting-edge technologies and best practices to ensure that our projects not only meet but exceed industry standards. Gihan’s track record includes successful execution on projects ranging from residential, commercial, infrastructure, interior fit-out, etc., where he has consistently delivered on time and within budget. He prioritises safety, quality control, and sustainable practices, reinforcing the company’s commitment to excellence.

Beyond his technical expertise, Gihan is recognised for his leadership qualities. He fosters a collaborative work environment, ensuring effective communication and coordination among project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.

As the Commercial Director at The Paint Factory, Samadhi is a seasoned professional with over 14 years of experience in the construction industry. With a proven track record of success, Samadhi plays a pivotal role in overseeing and optimising our commercial operations.

Samadhi brings a wealth of expertise in managing large-scale construction projects, negotiating contracts, and cultivating strategic partnerships. Their keen business acumen and dedication to excellence have been instrumental in many iconic construction projects.

Having earned an MSc in Commercial Management and Quantity Surveying from Heriot-Watt University, Samadhi possesses a solid foundation in commercial management. Her career journey includes key roles in residential, commercial, and interior fit-out projects in Sri Lanka, the United Arab Emirates, and New Zealand, where she consistently delivered projects on time and within budget, earning a reputation for reliability and professionalism. Also, she is currently pursuing her Doctoral in Engineering at Auckland University of Technology.
